Wild Horse Australia - Horse Rug – Ripstop Rug with attached Hood

Wild Horse Australia – Insect Control Horse Rug – Ripstop Rug with Attached Hood

Give your horse long-lasting insect protection with the Wild Horse Australia Ripstop Rug with Attached Hood. Designed for durability, comfort and maximum coverage, this rug is ideal for horses that are tough on their rugs and need extra protection from annoying insects.

Wild Horse Australia uses a unique insect control treatment that binds Permethrin deep into the fabric fibres for long-lasting protection in all weather conditions. The insect control treatment is EPA approved and tested to retain over 92% of the Permethrin after 25 detergent washes and 6 months of full-time weathering.

Made from Wild Horse Australia's most durable ripstop fabric, this rug features a strong poly/cotton blend of approximately 70% polyester and 30% cotton. The polyester provides strength and longevity, while the cotton allows for breathability and comfort.

The attached hood provides additional coverage for your horse's head and neck, while the secure poll strap helps keep everything in place. The unique Lycra connector between the rug and hood allows freedom of movement while helping reduce pressure and rubbing around the mane and withers.
