Ord River Hobble Straps are designed to be used with a hobble chain to create a secure pair of leg hobbles for your horse when tying up or tethering is not an option.

Leg hobbles are beneficial for restricting forward movement while still allowing the horse to stand comfortably. The straps attach to your horse’s front legs, limiting stride length rather than fully immobilising the horse.

Sold as a pair of hobble straps (hobble chain sold separately), these are ideal for experienced handlers in controlled situations.

Important Use Information:
We recommend training your horse to accept hobbles at home in a safe, familiar environment before use. Horses wearing hobbles should always be closely supervised, and the hobbles should be checked regularly to ensure no dirt, sticks, or debris have become caught that could cause rubbing or injury.
