This whip is made from nylon cord and can come in one tone (black), or two tone (black and colour). The end of the whip has a 2.5 ft nylon fall with our Martin Outback cracker. The benefit of a nylon whip and fall is it is stronger than leather, making it more resistant to wear and tear. The handle is Tasmanian Oak, with a wrapped cowhide leather and finished with a turks head (turks head excl. 2.5ft)
The 4ft whips are the entry level whips for older children that are beginners and have a lead loaded belly. The 2.5ft are better for younger children, as they are shorter and lighter. These lengths are determined by the plaited thong. Handles are 480x16mm for the 4ft, and 400x16mm for the 2.5ft
